Hotel Jen @ Orchardgateway
‘Tis the season to be jolly with Hotel Jen @ Orchardgateway with its festive buffet from 15 December – 30 December 2018. Hotel Jen is conveniently located on level 10 directly above Somerset MRT (you can find the lift up either from Orchardgateway shopping mall itself or from the entrance along Somerset Road). At a start, it would be jingle bells to the ears of parents as kids between 6 – 11 years old dine at half the price of all buffets (up to two kids).
Selection of Sausages
A Season to Savour festive buffet happens from 15 – 23, 26 – 30 December 2018. Lunch buffet ($48++) and dinner buffet ($68++) last from 12pm – 2.30pm and 6.30pm – 10pm respectively. Festive highlights include the above, Baked Honey Ham, Slow-Roasted Ribeye, Roasted Whole Lamb with self-grown rosemary and garlic, and the quintessential Christmas food, Roast Turkey with stuffing, candied chestnut, and self-grown basil morello cherry compote.
The Christmas buffet is made really value-for-money with the appearance of the luxurious crustacean in the form of Lobster Risotto with fresh herbs and Parmesan cheese wheel and Boston Lobster. Because what’s Christmas without the act of giving. Up to 4 Golden Circle members (free to sign up here) per bill are entitled to a complimentary glass of house pour sparkling, wine, beer or juices on condition that prior reservation for the buffet is made (not available on 24, 25 December 2018).

Slow-Roasted US Prime Rib with Wine Ripe Tomato
A Jingling-Good Time festive buffet, only available on 24 – 25 December 2018, is decidedly more elaborate and lavish. In addition to the offerings above, Christmas Eve dinner buffet will see one of two of our favourite Roast Beefs this year being served – the Slow-Roasted US Prime Rib. What’s more, the charcuterie counter and seafood on ice counter will be more fully packed with a wider selection. The detailed menu can be found here.
On Christmas Eve, the brunch buffet ($48++) is available from 12.30pm – 3pm, and the dinner buffet ($108++) is available from 6.30pm – 10pm.
On Christmas Day, both brunch buffet and dinner buffet are priced at $88++.
Matcha Red Bean Yule Log; Black Sesame Yuzu Yule Log
Complete the meal in all of the above buffets with Hotel Jen’s Christmas 2018 yule log cake creations, Matcha Red Bean Yule Log, and Black Sesame Yuzu Yule Log. Depending on the session of buffet, you may also find Christmas Dried Fruits Stollen, Christmas Hot Pudding, and Christmas Panettone.
