This Christmas, Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel invites guests to celebrate the festive season with jubilant feasting by way of dining in and takeaway Yuletide goodies. Making a debut this year is the Lavender Roast Turkey with Orange, Apple, & Cinnamon Stuffing (4.5-5 kg) ($198), where the Christmas bird is treated with lavender in the roast oven, emitting a floral fragrance to complement its fruity stuffings. This is offered as an alternative to the yearly hot favourite Traditional Roast Turkey with Chestnuts, Duck Foie Gras Stuffing, Cranberries & Port Wine Sauce (4.5-5 kg) ($188).
Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel has also retained their familiar roast pieces, including our favourite roast beef across all Christmas feasts, the Slow-Roasted Beef Striploin with Port Wine Sauce & Horseradish Cream (2kg) ($198) – the one dish that is set to glorify your Christmas table this year. Other roasts include their Signature Roast Pork Saddle stuffed with Pancetta, Prunes & Mixed Herbs (2kg) ($188), Rosemary Roast Lamb Leg (Bone-in) with Mint Demi-Glace (2.5-3 kg) ($188), and Honey & Clove Glazed Ham (Boneless) served with Cinnamon Pineapple Sauce (2-3kg/5-6kg) ($168/$248).
Amongst the log cake offerings from Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel, we are the most impressed with White Forest Bûche de Noël (1kg) ($68). The white chocolate sponge cake (being soaked in Kirsch) wedged with Kirsch cherries, counterpoise perfectly the sweet white chocolate mousse and shavings, resulting in a log cake that is easy and enjoyable to savour. Other log cakes include Raspberry Gula Melaka Coconut Log Cake (1kg) ($68) and Roasted Pistachio Cream Cheese Log Cake (1kg) ($68).
