(Easter 2014) What to Eat?

Easter Bunny Cupcakes at Da Paolo Gastronomia.
($4.80)

Yes, it is highly likely you will have a dilemma whether to eat these fellows or leave them alone, thanks to those, innocent puppy bunny-eyes. The cuteness overload comes cheaply at $4.80 per piece, and they come with either vanilla or chocolate frosting. You can place your orders at any Gastronomia outlets to pick up at Easter Day. I personally think they are the best food-gift for kids. It will make their day.

Easter Cake at Cedele.
($55)

Cedele has some seasonal creations up their sleeves this Easter Day. One thing’s for sure, they have always been a faithful advocate of healthy eating. Something new this season is their Hummingbird Cake – layers of banana with pineapple cake bordered by cream cheese frosting and coated with dark chocolate and pecan nuts. This species of bird weighs 1kg and can comfortably feed about 10 persons (even more, in my opinion). The cake, together with other Easter specials including Cheese Onion Mustard Hot Cross Buns and Chocolate Nest Cupcakes will make an appearance in stores until 25 April 2014.

Easter High Tea, at Axis Bar & Lounge @ Mandarin Oriental Singapore
($42++/pax, or $80++/pair)

One of my favourite high tea spots in Singapore. A high tea session, complete with an unblocked view spanning from the Float @ Marina Bay to the Esplanade and a sufficient 5-course high tea set. To add to the pampering, over 20 different types of TWG tea is included. This Easter Day, expect to see Easter Bunny making an appearance, together with its Easter Carrot and Easter Eggs! Easter Brunch Buffet, at The Knolls @ Capella Singapore
($228++ with wine & champagne, $188++ without alcohol, $118++ for 7-12 years, $78++ for 4-6 years)

If Easter is a special day for you and your family, be assured that Capella Singapore has it all taken care of. Not only can you expect a lavish brunch buffet lined up for you, including truffled items and dishes topped with caviar, you will also be entertained by a live quartet, who may just drop by your table just to perform while you indulge in the food. Kids can also partake in an Easter Egg Hunt where you can win prizes including a 1-night stay in a 1-bedroom garden villa at the hotel! It is truly, a family affair. Plaza Brasserie at PARKROYAL on Beach Road.
($48++)

This month, PARKROYAL on Beach Road’s buffet restaurant features ‘Treasures of the Sea’ – a feast where seafood enthusiasts congregate at. On 20 April 2014, the restaurant is transformed into an Easter Special lunch, where additional items like Oven-Roasted Leg of Lamb and Truffle Risotto Balls will be served. It is also most exciting that children get to join in the fun with balloon sculpting and cartoon screenings. Further, each child below 12 year-old only needs to pay a dollar for every year of their age. Click on the above link to find out more!
