You’re lying when you say you haven’t had any luxurious products / items, because Häagen-Dazs is a world-renowned luxury ice cream brand that has already satisfied many taste buds, especially in this millionaire-filled Singapore. The company’s current and latest campaign, ‘The House of Häagen-Dazs‘, is its largest one to date. The night was taken to launch their pint-sized Secret Sensations flavors (Chocolat Fondant & Crème Brûlée). You would read on to see how it justifies that.
To kick it all off, some 150 hand selected, fortunate handful of us were sent an invitation to The House of Häagen-Dazs. No, that’s nothing. The thing is that it was being held at an exclusive Level 29 P’ Club Group Penthouse, overlooking the majestic Parliament House, Marina Bay Sands and beyond (hell yeah). In this campaign, Häagen-Dazs is not only looking at tackling your taste bud, but all other senses.
Superior Craftsmanship :: This 50 odd year old establishment prides themselves as having superior craftsmanship. My personal take is, they are right with it. Their skill in this field is especially of top-class quality, constantly pleasantly surprising their consumers, while keeping right on track with their values and image. I’ve always loved Häagen-Dazs for their sleek appearance (on top of the needless-to-say decadent ice cream). I say, they have on this very day, outdone themselves again. It’s as if their ice cream alone isn’t indulging enough, they have to seduce us with their rendition and concoction of cocktail featuring the newly released pint size Secret Sensations Ice Cream. It is available for a limited period of time at The Tippling Club.
Innovation :: Innovation is what evoked during the Launch Event. And they have perfectly portrayed that. Being innovative is coming up with something new for something old. Ice cream dates way back, but the method of bringing it across to the people today needs to be especially capturing. During the event, we saw Burlesque dancers, and a Crystal Ball Performer to entertain the guests. You have no idea, whenever they come out, everyone just stares (and don’t worry, there were zero staring incidents).
Further, a previously unannounced and mystery performer, Emmy The Great, was flown in from the UK to perform at the Event. It was a treat. Her vocals suits the image of Häagen-Dazs, such that it was glam, posh and graceful.
Attention to Detail :: It’s probably called Secret Sensations because upon your first taste of the new selections, you wouldn’t know what to expect. It is only shortly after that you are treated to this, what they call, Secret Sensations. The hidden gem, if you might. I especially love the Chocolat Fondant. The slight bitterness of the sauce strikes a well-balanced sweet and bitter chocolate ice cream. Perfect.
Now, we were not only treated to an endless supply of Ice Cream at the In-house Ice Cream Parlour, the Event also saw the premiere of their new TV Advertisement, featuring, none other than a quarter of The Hangover gang – Bradley Cooper. We were amongst the first to see it on TV in Singapore. Ahh girls, I see you are drooling even more so after the mention of Mr. Cooper eh. Here’s for you.
Now tell me all your senses were not stimulated throughout this journey.
Special gratitude to Carrie, Peishan and the Kult team, and the Häagen-Dazs team for the hospitality and hosting the invited launch event.
