Brunch In Singapore 2013.

Brunch, being my favorite meal of the day, definitely earns a sole post on the blog. As time goes by, more Brunch Places will be inserted in for your kind consideration. These are the places that I’ve been to; tried and tested. If you have a worthy recommendation of a Brunch spot, feel free to drop me a message.

Club Street Social.

Truffle Toast.

A walk down down Club Street if you are coming from the Tanjong Pagar area was already a treat. It didn’t feel like a local location. Right at the end of Gemmill Lane off Club Street, Club Street Social isn’t as havoc as it sounds. It’s a simple cafe that seats probably around 30 – 40 diners at a go. Almost an immaculate brunch menu offered.

Address: 5 Gemmill Lane, #01-01
Telephone: 6225 5043
(All-day) Brunch Hours: 11am – 10.30pm (Mon – Fri); 9am – 10.30pm (Sat); 9am – 9pm (Sun)

Crystal Jade Golden Palace.

Crystal Jade Golden Palace.

Up for Brunch, but not the westernized one? Crystal Jade Golden Palace offers ala-carte dim sum brunch on weekends. Some hits, some misses. But the service and ambience were flawless.

Address: 290 Orchard Road, #05-21/24 Paragon
Telephone: 6734 6866
Brunch Hours: 11am – 3pm (Sat – Sun)

KU DÉ TA @ Marina Bay Sands

Waffles.

Waffles.

Restaurant at this iconic building in Singapore will never come at a cheap price, let alone with it being at level 57. This brunch buffet costs a bomb. It’s disappointing that the items served are only mostly average. Though well, for me, it’s an at-least-try-it-once affair.

Address: 1 Bayfront Avenue, Marina Bay Sands Skypark
Telephone: 6688 7688
Brunch Hours: 10am – 3pm (Sat – Sun)

Saybons, French Food Factory.

Wild Mushroom Soup + Crepe.

Wild Mushroom Soup + Crepe.

Saybons has 3 outlets in Singapore. Plaza Singapura, Junction 8, and Aljunied. The latter serves Brunch Menu, though the items served at the other outlets are brunch-y enough. Mushroom Soup, crepes, sandwiches. One of the best mushroom soups I’ve had, hands down. And that is no small praise.

Address: 115 Aljunied Avenue 2, #01-53B
Telephone: 6841 0087
Brunch Hours: 9am – 2pm (Sat – Sun)

Spathe Public House.

Spathe Platter.

Spathe Platter.

A new kid on the block, Spathe Public House offers absolutely faultless food. Having tried a few items off its brunch menu, I thought they were nothing short of impressive.

Address: 8 Mohamed Sultan Road, #01-01
Telephone: 6735 1035
Brunch Hours: 9am – 11am (Sat); 9am – 3pm (Sun)

Sun Ray Cafe.

American Breakfast.

American Breakfast.

I’ve heard quite some ravings on the food here. I can’t speak for their mains, but their all-day breakfast items have been nothing but a let down. But if you are in the neighborhood and has a pet, this cafe is pet-friendly.

Address: 79 Brighton Crescent, Serangoon Gardens
Telephone: 6283 8700
(All-day) Brunch Hours: 6pm – 11pm (Mon – Tue); 11am – 11pm (Wed – Fri); 10am – 11pm (Sat – Sun)

The Loft Cafe.

American Breakfast.

Very subjectively, I quite love the food, homely service, and quiet locality of this cafe. All-day breakfast items are priced at around mid-10s to the 20s. A fine cafe to chill amidst the busy Chinatown.

Address: 268A South Bridge Road
Telephone: 6221 2103
(All-day) Brunch Hours: 9am – 3pm (Mon); 9am – 10pm (Tue – Sun)
