Brunch In Singapore.

This is not the entire list of restaurants / cafes for brunch in Singapore, that’s for sure, but more of those that I’ve tried and tested. With that said, the post will be updated with time.

Ardent’s Car Bar.

It isn’t necessarily the best cafe for brunch whilst I was there months ago when they were only recently opened. I only hope that they’ve improved both their service and their food to match their good interior design of the cafe. They serve a wide array of Eggs in different style, and you can opt for what you want in your own Breakfast too.

Delifrance Cafe / Bistro.

Besides serving their signature croissants and pastries for breakfast, they also have breakfast buffet on weekends for $9.95, serving scrambled eggs, ham, sausages, assorted pastries. They are only available in Bistro outlets. Last time I checked, they still have it. It’s safer to call in and check before heading down though!

Brunch Hours: Available till 11am (Daily)

eM by the River (The Gallery Hotel).

eM by the River is an entirely alfresco bar + restaurant of The Gallery Hotel. It serves breakfast by day and turns into a bar by night. It is heard to be a champion in their latter than former.

Opening Hours: 9am – mid afternoon (Mon – Fri, Eve of PH)
8am – mid afternoon (Sat & Sun)

One of the first cafes I got to try in Robertson Quay. It was love at first try. Outstanding pancakes and yoghurt. It is no wonder the queue can be a monster at times. But it’s all worth it.

Lunch (11.30am – 2.30pm from Tue – Fri)

Fine Palate.

Steak & Eggs.

Food For Thought.

A very cute concept, Food For Thought has two outlets running (Queen Street & Botanic Gardens). If you’re interested, take a look at their website for the causes they support, and how you can help them. Good Food For A Good Cause.

Forty Hands Coffee.

Flat White.

Flat White.

Blended into part of the neighborhood in Tiong Bahru, 40 Hands Coffee isn’t an easy cafe to locate. A very casual dining experience is what you can expect here, look at the menu on the board, order at the counter and have it sent to your table.

Telephone: 6225 8545

Graze @ Rochester Park.

Graze @ Rochester Park.

Quite a renowned establishment this is, I’d say, expect some spectacular food here, or it’d mean that they’ve failed to live up to their name. If you like to be in a serene environment surrounded by greens, you can give this a shot.

Telephone: 6775 9000
Brunch Hours: 9.30am – 3pm (Weekends only)

Group Therapy Cafe.

Poached Eggs with Smoked Salmon.

Poached Eggs with Smoked Salmon.

Jones The Grocer.

Kith Cafe.

Wooden tables, wooden chair. Some of the seats might not be the most comfortable, the crowd makes you feel like you’re in another country. And with that, you seep into the atmosphere. Acceptable food and hot beverages. This cafe has its prices at a nett price (no GST & service charge).

Telephone: 6341 9407

Oriole Cafe & Bar.

This dark color-themed cafe is situated along the busy walkways just outside 313 @ Somerset. It looks posh with the relatively high ceiling. They have quite a list of coffee too.

Telephone: 6238 8348
Brunch Hours: From 11am (Sat)
From 10am (Sun)

Pique Nique.

If you want to dine in a cutesy, pink, flowery environment for a change, you can try this, already cutely named restaurant, Pique Nique. Cool word play, I say. Although there isn’t much to choose from the All-Day Breakfast Menu, it is still quite refreshing for an ambience like this.

Telephone: 6238 6705
Brunch Hours: 10am – 9.30pm (Daily)

Prive Restaurant, Waterfront Bar & Cafe.

Prive Bakery Cafe @ Keppel Bay.

Prive Bakery Cafe @ Keppel Bay.

The trip to the cafe is breathtaking on its own. And when you reach a restaurant quite secluded early in the morning, brunch reaches an all new meaning in a country like Singapore. Acceptable breakfast.

Address: Marina at Keppel Bay, 2 Keppel Bay Vista
Telephone: 6776 0777
Brunch Hours: 9am – 5pm (Daily)

Riders Cafe.

‘The Usual’.

Breakfast at the Stables. Who wouldn’t want to experience that at least one? I had the chance to dine there, at the balcony overlooking the stables just directly diagonally below me. It was all sorts of brilliance.

Address: 51 Fairways Drive
Telephone: 6466 9819
Brunch Hours: 8am – 11am (Weekdays)
8am – 3pm (Weekends)

Greek Yoghurt.

Greek Yoghurt.

Although not as pretty as when in the evening, Spruce is surrounded by lush greenery. If you like it, you’ll like this restaurant. It’s quite popular even though it’s very off the way, so make a reservation before you go!

Address: 320 Tanglin Road, Phoenix Park
Telephone: 6836 5528
Brunch Hours: 8.30am – 4pm (Sat & Sun)
10am – 4pm (PH)

Strictly Pancakes.

It being a cafe that sells pancakes, I’m sure it can be taken as a brunch / breakfast item at any point in time. I love that they have both savory and sweet pancakes on the menu – all for your happiness. Be warned though, they have very limited seats, be there before it opens or risk being disappointed.

Address: 44A Prinsep Street

Telephone: 6338 0520
Brunch Hours: 8am – 11am (Weekdays)
From 8am (Junior Breakfast Menu available on Weekends)

The Marmalade Pantry.

The Marmalade Pantry.

The Marmalade Pantry.

Not the most extensive list of brunch menu, they specialize more on their lunch / dinner items. Unless you’re looking at The Marmalade Toast, their venture.

Address: 2 Orchard Turn, #03-22, ION Orchard.
Telephone: 6734 2700
Brunch Hours: 10am – 10pm (Weekends only)

The Plain.

It’s really as plain a design, both interior and exterior, as the cafe’s name, The Plain. Simplistic yet elegant though, the cafe is quite a nice place to sit down and have a coffee. But for me it’s as far as it gets. Its items aren’t the most impressive.

Address: 50 Craig Road, #01-01
Telephone: 6225 4387
Brunch Hours: 7.30am – 7.30pm (Daily)

Toby’s Estate.

Eggs Benedict.

Eggs Benedict.

Sure they aren’t consistent in its Poached Eggs, but when they ace it, they ace it well. One of the many breakfast / brunch cafes along Robertson Quay, Toby’s Estate is yet another cafe, Australian, that starts business real early, from the too-early-for-Singaporeans 7.30am.

Telephone: 6636 7629
Opening Hours: 7.30am – 6pm (Sun – Wed)
7.30am – 10pm (Thurs – Sat)

TWG Tea Company.

Although slightly on the pricey side (over $30), TWG Tea Company offers brunch menu on weekends. They have quite a number of set menus available for your pleasure. Imagine freshly brewed tea, with what seems like miniature pastries on the golden plated holders. And a main course. Yes, ultimate pampering.

Address (Outlet In Context): ION Orchard, 2 Orchard Turn, #02-21
Telephone: 6735 1837
Brunch Hours: 10am – 11.30am (Weekdays)
10am – 3pm (Weekends)

Wild Honey.

European Breakfast.

European Breakfast.

This has to be the best Eggs Benedict I’ve had. That calls for a ‘go’ for anyone, if you’re on the search for some awesome Eggs Benedict. Besides that, Wild Honey offers a lot more other breakfast items (from all over the country), what with the new outlet opened at Scotts Square now. Sad to say, they don’t take reservations for the outlet at Mandarin Gallery.

Address (Outlet In Context): #03-02, Mandarin Gallery, Orchard Road
Telephone: 6235 3900
Brunch Hours: 9am – 10pm (Daily)

    • Hey Estelle! Thank you for the compliment. Hah, I know, Wild Honey has been floating around everyone’s lips these days. But I, for one, love underdogs and hidden gems as much as the popularized ones. It’s more exciting that way! Hope the list helps in finding awesome brunch places!
